1. Charlie Strong

Everyone’s favorite hot seat coach, Charlie Strong, knows what it’s like to be on the perpetual hot seat each year. After two wins to start the season, this was the year that people thought Strong was going to have Texas going in the right direction.

Instead, they lost the next three and their defense has been terrible. The Longhorns are destined for another average season and there are going to be too many good coaching options out there for the program to stick with Strong.

Strong might already be Texas toast at this point, but he needs his team to continue to fight and not quit on him. If they do that and finish out the year strong, then he might have a slim shot at staying.

With Tom Herman likely on the board as an option for the Longhorns, it’s going to be real tough for Strong to be able to do anything at this point. The hot seat might have finally become too hot to bare for him.
