When will the 2016-17 NBA All-Star Game take place?

The NBA will have a much different feel to it this season. Legends have retired, franchise players have found new homes and emerging superstars are ready to take the league by storm. That means that the 2016-17 NBA All-Star Game will have a different feel to it.

With the likes of Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan retiring, there will be open spots on the Western Conference All-Star team. Kevin Durant joining the Golden State Warriors also provides some extra incentive to follow along. There is a real chance the Warriors could have four starters in the All-Star Game.

That means it would essentially be the Warriors against the Eastern Conference. Those are always the fun little narratives that come with the NBA All-Star Game. The game will take place in New Orleans this season on February 19, 2017.

It’s a game where almost no defense is played and the teams continue to set scoring records against the other. The game was moved from Charlotte to New Orleans after the controversial bathroom bill law. The NBA has long been an advocate of taking a stand for what they feel is right and working on effective solutions for global issues.
