College Football Rankings: FanSided Top 25 entering Week 8
Colorado with a solid bounce back victory against Arizona State on Saturday and it was all thanks to Philip Lindsay and his three touchdowns and over 200 yards on the ground. If you look at the numbers from the game, Colorado took it to the Sun Devils from start to finish as they keep pace with Utah in the south division.
This week Colorado faces off against Stanford, the Cardinal look to have Christian McCaffery back for that game so it may present some challenge for Colorado. Aside from that, games against Washington State and Utah are the only things holding this team back from possibly reaching the Pac-12 title game.
Navy was off this past week due to their game against East Carolina being postponed. Navy, still has a say when it comes to what happens in the New Years Six. If Houston wants to reach the New Years Six, they’ll need Navy to keep on winning. As for Navy, if they can keep winning, it’s not out of the question that the Midshipmen can make their way to the New Years Six.
After an unscheduled week off, Navy will face off with Memphis at home. Then the following week they’ll travel to Tampa to face South Florida. The more Navy wins, the more intriguing the Midshipmen come when we talk about the bowl picture.
