The Detroit Lions will host the Washington Redskins in NFL Week 7 action. Here’s how you can watch via a live online stream.

The 4-2 Washington Redskins have bounced back in a big way in recent weeks, reeling off four consecutive victories. Now, they will travel to the Midwest to take on the 3-3 Detroit Lions.

The Redskins’ offense has been rolling in recent weeks. Quarterback Kirk Cousins is not the most consistent passer in the league, but he has great upside on a week by week basis. Cousins still makes too many mistakes in the red zone, but has the ability to take over a game at any time.

Cousins has been great, but the play of running back Matt Jones has been the real difference-maker for the Redskins. Jones is coming off of a performance against the Philadelphia Eagles last week where he carried the rock 16 times for 135 yards and a touchdown.

Jones has become a big-time playmaker for the Redskins in recent weeks and I see no reason for that not to continue. The Lions’ defense has struggled all over the field. Expect both Cousins and Jones to be productive in this one.

The Lions’ offense is an explosive unit that can also certainly put points on the board. They do not have the same kind of balance as the Redskins, but quarterback Matthew Stafford is playing at an extremely high level this season.

Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones has become the clear No. 1 option in the offense. Jones is a dynamic playmaker on the outside who has made a significant difference in the Lions’ offense.

Also, after a slow start to the season, Golden Tate got into the action last week, with an eight-catch, 165-yard and one-touchdown performance against the Los Angeles Rams.

The Lions’ offense will be a tough test for the Washington defense that has obvious struggles all over the field. The interesting matchup to note here is where Redskins’ cornerback Josh Norman will play. Will Norman specifically matchup on Marvin Jones, or will he stay to one side of the field?

Regardless, expect Stafford to zone in on whichever receivers Norman is not defending.
