During his ridiculous performance against NC State on Saturday afternoon, Louisville QB Lamar Jackson inadvertently had his Heisman moment.

Lamar Jackson has 34 touchdowns this season up to this point in the year. That’s more than 110 college football programs this season.

Simply put, Lamar Jackson is a really good football player.

On Saturday afternoon against NC State, Jackson also proved that he’s a really photogenic player during Louisville’s thrashing of the Wolfpack.

How so?

Check out this Heisman Trophy-esque pose from Jackson during Saturday’s action vs NC State.

What hasn’t Jackson done this season?

He’s got 34 touchdowns, a superb performance (even in a loss to No. 4 Clemson) on the road in a hostile environment, and now, he has the photograph that can define his Heisman Trophy campaign.

There’s not much wrong you can find in Jackson’s season, which makes you wonder what he’s going to do next season too, being that he can’t enter the NFL draft until after next year.

It’s probably not scary as watching the film with the coaching staff from Saturday’s game if you’re a defender on the NC State defense, but it’s going to be frightening to see what Jackson does for the rest of this season and beyond.

Louisville still needs some help in the College Football Playoff race, but if Jackson keeps playing this well and providing weekly highlights, the Cards have a shot at it with Jackson leading the way.

Oh, and for an update on the NC State-Louisville game: Jackson has four total touchdowns (three passing, one rushing) and the Cardinals lead the Wolfpack, 44-0.
