Finally, Red and Blue … have come back … to Pokemon! The latest trailer for Pokemon Sun and Moon has plenty of new information on the games.

With less than a month to go until the releases of Pokemon Sun and Moon, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have been dropping plenty of information on the two games.

Today’s trailer had plenty of fresh info, but most importantly, we know now more about the final evolutions of the three starting Pokemon as well as the fact that Red and Blue will return.

Below, you can watch the trailer:

Let’s break down all of the information. First, the final evolutions of the starters are Decidueye (from Rowlet), Incineroar (from Litten), and Primarina (from Poppolio). Each of them gains a secondary type as well. Decidueye adds the Ghost-type, Incineroar Dark and Primarina Fairy. They also have special moves that, in order, forbid the opponent from switching out, ignore the opponent’s stat changes while attacking or heal burns if it hits.

Furthermore, we also now know the identities of the other three guardian Pokemon. Tapu Lele, Tapu Bulu and Tapu Fini have Psychic, Grass and Water types in conjunction with the Fairy type, and they share similar “surge” abilities that change the scope of the battlefield. (The fourth guardian, Tapu Koko, is an Electric-Fairy Pokemon.)

The trailer also introduces Cosmog, a Psychic-type, and the Alolan form of Persian.

Now, though, we get to the good stuff. Red and Blue, the original hero and rival of Red/Blue/Yellow, will pay a visit to Alola, and your Trainer can fight them. We didn’t see the entire loadout from either of them. However, Red does have a Pikachu, while Blue throws out an Alakazam.

So yeah, you can basically fight Ash Ketchum and Gary Oak, since Red and Blue inspired those characters. Just throwing that out there. Red has previously appeared in games like SoulSilver and HeartGold as well as participating in the Black 2 and White 2 world tournament. Blue has led the Viridian City Gym and also appears in Black 2 and White 2.
