Virginia Tech’s Isaiah Ford made one of the most insane grabs that you will see all season in college football

To start Thursday night college football this week, we get an ACC Coastal battle between the Virginia Tech Hokies and the Pittsburgh Panthers. For the most part in the first half, the excitement in this one really has been few and far between. Well, except for what Hokies wide receiver Isaiah Ford was able to bring us.

In the first half of this one, Virginia Tech was driving down the field to get some points on the board, and a ball down the sideline was aimed in the direction of Ford, who wasn’t able to come down with the catch right off the bat. Oh well!

Actually, all was not lost, as he was actually able to come down with the ball on a second effort after the ball bounced off the Pitt defender who thought he came away with the break up play here.

That is just an insane play in what has otherwise been a pretty boring game overall. What’s really amazing about this play is the concentration that Ford shows to come down with the ball after it appeared as if the play was a complete lost cause.

Unfortunately, though, this amazing play did not end up in a touchdown for the Hokies, as they were only able to come away with another field goal, which is all they’ve gotten thus far in the first half.

But with the way it seems their luck is going, Virginia Tech’s fortunes might turn around as the game goes on if they can come up with more amazing plays like this.
