High Value PF

Serge Ibaka-Orlando Magic (5,900): Ibaka ended up finishing with 14 points, seven rebounds, and a block in his Orlando debut which was a decent showing but not exceptional. The upside is that he attempted 17 shots and appeared to be a big part of Orlando’s offense. The downside is he didn’t convert that into a big statistical night. Ibaka may play a little bit less tonight since Bismack Biyombo is available after serving his one-game suspension, but he still is a nice value for points, blocks, and boards at this price.

Trevor Booker-Brooklyn Nets(4,900): Booker is expected to be the regular starting PF for the first time in his career after joining Brooklyn this offseason after four years in Washington and two in Utah. Booker played 24 minutes in the season opener against Boston and chipped in a solid with points, seven rebounds, three steals, and five assists. While no single number jumps off the statsheet, his solid overall play and fixed starting role make him an interesting play against the high-scoring and high-fantasy-point-allowing Pacers tonight.∗∗∗

Pascal Siakam-Toronto Raptors (3,400): The Raptors used their first-round pick on Pascal Siakam out of New Mexico State, but the plan wasn’t for him to jump right into the starting lineup. However, with Jared Sullinger lost to injury, Siakam was inserted into the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Pistons.  He played 22 minutes in his NBA debut scoring four points but grabbing a solid nine rebounds to go with a steal. He won’t be asked to do much at this point, but he did do well enough on the glass and play enough minutes to be a solid cheap flier tonight against the Cavaliers.
