On Sunday, the New England Patriots beat the Buffalo Bills 41-25 at New Era Field, taking a three-game lead in the AFC East.

Buffalo has now lost two in a row after going 4-2 in the first six weeks of the season. Injuries have now started to plague the Bills. The Bills offense is severely inefficient without LeSean McCoy on the field. McCoy and quarterback Tyrod Taylor compliment each other extremely well.

When they are separated, the Bills offense suffers. That was the theme today as the Bills couldn’t hang with New England.

Of course, their defense didn’t help them out much, though, giving up 41 points. Buffalo must regroup now if they plan on hanging within contention of the AFC East. They need to become more elastic on offense. They were too reliant on McCoy and without him it shows.

Three Stars:

1-Tom Brady: Brady was Brady, and the Patriots rolled against the Bills. He threw it just 33 times, completing 22 of his passes for 315 yards averaging 9.5 yards per attempt. He was sacked four times but also threw four TD’s.

2-Rob Gronkowski: Gronk was unstoppable as he usually is, the Bills without Williams had no answer in the middle of the field to respond. He finished with five catches for 109 yards averaging 21.8 yards per catch and a touchdown. He was targeted seven times.

3-Trey Flowers: The defensive lineman for the Patriots made his presence felt in the Bills backfield. He a total of five tackles, two sacks, and two QB hits.
