Here’s a complete preview and prediction for the game between the New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

The New Orleans Saints are trying to show they are worthy of a playoff spot in a crowded NFC. After a big win over the Seattle Seahawks last week, the Saints will travel out west to take on the San Francisco 49ers this week. San Francisco is playing for a high draft pick at this point and looking for some progress under Chip Kelly.

Keys to Victory

The New Orleans Saints are going to put up a lot of points this week. That’s just what they do and the 49ers are going to have to find a way to limit Drew Brees as much as possible. They’ll also have to work against the ground game too. New Orleans has running backs that can pound the ball.

For San Francisco, their offensive line is going to have to protect Colin Kaepernick. He’s going to have to make plays with his legs as much as his arms and get the time he needs to find his targets. To keep up with the Saints, there will need to be adequate protection.

The Saints’ defense will have to be ready for the pace Chip Kelly plays at. They’re coming off of a physical game against the Seahawks, but have to be ready for plenty of tempo this week on the road.

Prediction

There isn’t going to be a whole lot of defense in this one. Neither team is that great at stopping offenses and Drew Brees is still incredible. No one should be surprised if he throws for over 400 yards again on the road, as he’s going to force San Francisco to stop him. Saints win on the road, but both teams score a lot.

Pick: New Orleans 38, San Francisco 28
