Chicago Cubs pitcher Jon Lester said a cuss word during the Chicago Cubs’ World Series parade.

The Chicago Cubs finally got to celebrate with their fans on Friday. The team held an extravagant victory parade for winning the World Series and it perfectly summed up the 108-year wait that the city has endured with the team.

As the team finally got to the stage, there were plenty of speeches to be had. There were plenty of memorable ones too. Jon Lester was so excited when he got to the mic he said a cuss word to get everyone rolling. Without saying the word, let’s just say that it rhymes with spit.

After 108 years of agony, there are probably plenty of bad words that are worthy of being uttered. Lester brought up David Ross and the bond that two share is a great one. Ross has been Lester’s catcher for a long time and was the veteran influence the team needed in their run.

The funniest part of Lester cussing is the way that he apologized to all of the kids in attendance or anyone watching. It’s not the first time someone has cussed at a victory parade and it won’t be the last. Lester just did it with style.
