If the NFL isn’t Ben Boulware’s future, then maybe the WWE is. Boulware had a really good impression of Brock Lesnar on Saturday afternoon against Syracuse.

Do you think Ben Boulware played WWE video games growing up before becoming a beast at linebacker for the No. 2 Clemson Tigers? If your answer to that question was yes, do you think he used Brock Lesnar a lot?

Personally, both answers are yes.

On Saturday, during Clemson’s curb-stomping of Syracuse at home, Boulware pulled off a wonderful suplex on a tackle than Lesnar would’ve been proud of.

You didn’t have to do the poor kid like that, Ben. The beatdown couldn’t get much worse for Syracuse, as they fell behind by 30 points in the first half alone.

Boulware and the Clemson defense have just dominated the Orange and after a early second half touchdown, the offense made it 37-0 Tigers.

The only thing that hasn’t gone right for Brock Lesnar’s clone and the Clemson Tigers as a whole was the shoulder injury that quarterback Deshaun Watson suffered in the first half of the game.

Watson scampered out for a run and was tackled hard, landing on his right shoulder awkwardly. He wasn’t ruled out for the game, but with the Tigers being up almost 40 points in the third quarter, it’s probably a safe bet that he won’t play for the rest of the afternoon.

As for Boulware, this should be the main highlight of his tape that he should consider sending Vince McMahon and the WWE brass.

The form needs a little bit of work. It wasn’t a flawless German suplex like Lesnar and wrestling legend Kurt Angle threw during his days with WWE, but the impact was strong.
