The Los Angeles Rams have been a laughingstock through nine weeks of the NFL season, and fans are starting to get antsy to see their first round pick.

Back in April, the Los Angeles Rams made quarterback Jared Goff the first overall pick in the NFL Draft. Through nine weeks of the NFL season, Goff has yet to sniff the field, despite Rams starter Case Keenum struggling mightily to get anything going. The fans are starting to get restless, but head coach Jeff Fisher said Goff will not play until the team is out of contention.

One quarterback who has played this season, albeit terribly, has been Ryan Fitzpatrick, who has not earned the $12 million he was given by the New York Jets this offseason. After losing his starting job to Geno Smith, Fitz got it back when Smith was injured in his first start, but it may be time for the Jets to see what Bryce Petty can give them. Fitz was hurt this past week, spraining his MCL, and may not be ready for the Jets game against the Rams this Sunday.

Speaking of the Jets, it was a bad week to be Muhammad Wilkerson. The defensive lineman was benched this past week due to missing some meetings, which included his own birthday celebration. There is no doubting how talented Wilkerson is, but you have to question his commitment to the Jets after what he pulled this week. The Jets are bad this season, but Big Mo is supposed to be a leader.

The Kansas City Chiefs will get their starting quarterback back this week, and it cannot come soon enough. Backup Nick Foles looked very bad this past week against the Jacksonville Jaguars, as Kansas City barely beat the hapless Jags at home. Smith took some shots to the head during the team’s Week 8 victory at Indianapolis, and needed a week to get back to 100 percent. The Chiefs head to Carolina to take on the Panthers Sunday.

Calling all kickers! The Minnesota Vikings are looking for options at the position, as Blair Walsh has been terrible this season. His bad year thus far comes on the heels of him missing a chip-shot in the playoffs last season, as the Seattle Seahawks beat the Vikings 10-9 in a Wild Card matchup. The loss has definitely carried over to this season, as Walsh has missed four field goals and three extra points.

Finally, some injury news, as rookie running back Derrick Henry may miss some time for the Tennessee Titans. The 2015 Heisman Trophy winner hurt himself during pregame before the Titans 43-35 loss to the San Diego Chargers this past week, and tried to play through the injury. He had an MRI on his strained calf Monday, and there is no timetable for his return. It could be something he comes back from quickly, or he could be out a couple of weeks.
