The Philadelphia Eagles drafted a quarterback with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, selecting North Dakota State’s Carson Wentz. Wentz got out to a hot start for the Eagles, but since their bye in Week 4, he has been one of the lowest rated passers in the NFL. The issue has been that he does not have much as far as a running game, which has now turned to 36-year old Darren Sproles to lead the way.

Philadelphia needs to go with a running back in April, and Florida State’s Dalvin Cook would be a perfect solution to their problems. He has the ability to run through, and around defenders, and would be a hit in Philadelphia. Eagles fans love hard-nosed players, and Cook is never one to shy away from trying to run over a defender.

Cook has had a record-setting career for the Seminoles, and there is not much left for him to do on campus. The Eagles need him to take some of the pressure off of Wentz, who just is not ready to carry a team on his back yet. Philadelphia is very close to being a contender in the NFC, and if they can grab Cook in the draft, he could be the Ezekiel Elliott to his Dak Prescott.
