Live stream and how to watch #10 Arizona (0-0) vs. #12 Michigan State (0-0) on television and online on Friday, November 11.
Two of the ten toughest teams to predict in college basketball this season happen to also hold the #1 and #2 spots, respectively, and they also happen to be playing each other in the Armed Forces Classic in Hawaii this weekend. Arizona will meet Michigan State on Friday night in the season opener, and it’s anyone’s guess what will happen when these two titans collide.
Arizona is widely heralded as a powerhouse, but at present there are a lot of questions up in the air about the availability of some key starters that could damage the Wildcat’s prowess this season. Ray Smith is out permanently after 3 ACL tears inside 30 months. Chance Comanche is having academic issues but has been confirmed to play in Friday’s game after missing both exhibition games, while star prospect Terrance Ferguson decided not to attend Arizona. Even with this up in the air, the Wildcats still enter the 2016-2017 season tabbed #10 in preseason polls. They finished 25-9 at the end of last season and look to make a return to the Big Dance this year.
The #12 Michigan State Spartans are dealing with some injuries at present that could keep them from reaching the success of last year’s squad. The 2015-2016 Spartans finished the season 29-6. This year they have some solid talent in their freshman class and solid veteran support in the back court but that might not be enough to keep them in the top-polls for the first part of the season.
