The Duke Blue Devils face the Marist Red Foxes at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Friday night. Here’s all you need to watch online.
Entering the 2016-17 college basketball season as it tips off on Friday night, the Duke Blue Devils are the No. 1 team in the country. Frankly, that’s a deserved ranking entering the year as they return key players from last year, but also boast arguably the best recruiting class in all of college hoops. They have national title hopes, but that journey begins on Friday at Cameron Indoor Stadium against the Marist Red Foxes.
Duke enters this season with a host of star freshmen, headlined by the duo of Harry Giles and Jayson Tatum. However, even those two have cohorts in the likes of other recruits, Marques Bolden and Frank Jackson. Giles and Bolden will sit out the opener with injuries, though, but considering that the Blue Devils also have Grayson Allen, a National Player of the Year candidate, and Luke Kennard returning, they should be just fine.
Marist originally didn’t even have Duke on their schedule. After Albany cancelled the trip to Durham due to a government ban on publicly funded travel, though, the Red Foxes picked up this game to start their season. Khallid Hart leads the way for Marist and hopes to spark what would be a monumental upset bid.
This game will be broadcast on the ACC Network on Friday night, which means it may only be available to stream online in certain areas. However, you can stream online anywhere with WatchESPN. Simply log in using a cable or satellite subscription online or through the ESPN app to access it.

Even missing some key pieces, I don’t think Duke has to worry about this one. Call it home court advantage or just being the best team in the country, but Marist should have a hard time putting up even a ounce of a fight.
