The Iowa State Cyclones will host the Savannah State Tigers for a tipoff on Friday night. Here’s how you can watch this NCAA basketball game via live streaming. 

On Friday November 11, the college basketball season will get underway when the Iowa State Cyclones host the Savannah State Tigers at James H Hilton Arena. The game will start at 8:00 PM EST and will be shown on Cyclones.tv.

The Cyclones enter the 2016-17 NCAA basketball season as the #24 team in the nation according to the AP poll. Their star point guard Monte Morris will control their offense. He is their top returning scorer and also led the team in assists last season. Senior guard Nazareth Mitrou-Long will be coming back after missing all but eight games last season due to injury. Their top returning rebounder is senior guard Matt Young.

On the other side of the court, Savannah State is coming of a 16-16 season. Their leading returning scorer and rebounder is senior guard Troyce Manassa. Manassa also led the team in assists last season with 2.4 per game. Among their players coming back include sophomore guard  Kamil Williams, sophomore guard Dexter McClanahan, sophomore guard  Isaiah Felder, and Brandon Jordan. They will have four freshmen this season, along with several junior transfers.

Iowa State will be looking to start their season strong with a road win. It will be important for them as they hope to return to the NCAA tournament.
