Cavaliers one-up in the Mannequin Challenge with Michelle Obama (Video)
LeBron James and the Cavaliers make history and slay the Mannequin Challenge with Michelle Obama during their White House championship visit.
It’s been a long week in politics that tested the emotions of many, but here is something from the White House that everyone is sure to enjoy.
During their visit to the White House, the Cleveland Cavaliers made history. They filmed and posted the mother of all Mannequin Challenges with a very special guest. The Cleveland squad assumed the fun-loving frozen position with First Lady Michelle Obama.
As of late, the Mannequin Challenge is everywhere, and it seems as though everyone is participating in it. However, no one will ever do one quite like this.
What made it even more amazing was that superstar LeBron James and Mrs. Obama were posing while talking a selfie for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Kevin Love and J. R. Smith also had the opportunity to take pictures with Michelle Obama as well.

This a feat that will never be done again, as the Obamas will be leaving Washington D.C. in roughly two months. Talk about timing by the most-recently crowned Cavaliers. They are officially the last team to be honored by the Obamas.
Every year the NBA championship team visits the White House, but this particular meeting will be remembered for a very long time. The challenge is literally frozen in time, and will be forever. Due to the momentous occasion and the presence of the first lady, Lebron called upon his teammates to film two separate renditions of the challenge.
Next: Dwyane Wade, nostalgia, and going home again
The fun-filled occasion took place only hours after President-elect Donald Trump met with President Barack Obama. It was the first time that Trump would visit the White House since his presidential victory.
It was not only a much-needed timeout for Michelle Obama, but it’s something the world can marvel at for years to come. The Challenge is a nice reminder that, even though the first family plays an important role for our country, they are still people that like to have fun too.
