On Veterans Day weekend, the UCLA Bruins will be honoring the military with special edition uniforms against Oregon State.

There’s many things that can be argued when it comes to both college football and politics. However, there are a few things that most everyone can agree on. For Veterans Day weekend, it’s undeniable that everyone should thank and honor those who have fought to defend the United States. Moreover, it’s also always incredible whenever college football teams honor the military in various ways. The UCLA Bruins certainly had a hand in that for Week 11.

Ahead of their matchup against the Oregon State Beavers, the UCLA Bruins need a win. While that’s obviously going to be a big part of their focus as they have to win out to become bowl eligible, they still took the time to whip up an incredible tribute to the military.

The Bruins did so by designing a special edition jersey and uniform for Veterans Day weekend and the Oregon State game. As if that wasn’t enough, the jerseys also happen to be absolutely incredible:

From the design of the jersey being military inspired with the stripes and numbering to the helmets having the American flag incorporated, these UCLA uniforms are quite incredible.

Every Saturday during college football season, these players get to take the field to play a game they love. Moreover, fans get to wake up, pour their coffee, and relax to start the weekend by watching a silly, yet fun game. None of this would be possible without the brave men and women that have fought for our freedom.

That’s why honoring them with jerseys and in other ways is such a necessary gesture. These men and women deserve to be honored. They put their lives on the line in the name of the American people. At the very least, UCLA should definitely design some awesome uniforms to pay tribute.
