Bears at Buccaneers: Highlights, score and recap
By John Buhler
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the Chicago Bears in Week 10. Here are all the highlights, the game recap, and the final score.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5) will host the Chicago Bears (2-6) on Sunday in Week 10 of the 2016 NFL season. Kickoff from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on November 13th will be at 1:00 p.m. ET. FOX will have the telecast.
This is a must-win game for both teams. Chicago has to win this game to have any shot at sticking around in the NFC Playoffs race. The Bears are fortunate to play in an NFC North division that is in flux at the halfway point. While none of Chicago’s divisional rivals are running away with it, the Bears are clearly the worst of the four Midwestern NFC teams.
Tampa Bay cannot win games at home for whatever reason. This has limited the Buccaneers’ chances to have staying power in the NFC South. Atlanta leads the division at 6-3. New Orleans is at a respectable 4-4. Even Carolina has gotten its act together in recent weeks. The Panthers are only 3-5 this season.
Three Stars
- Jay Cutler: For the Bears to win in Tampa, Cutler will have to be the guy leading the way for Chicago. Look for him to complete 56% of his passes for 245 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception.
- Jameis Winston: Winston has to play better for Tampa Bay to end its horrid losing streak at home. Look for him to complete 59% of his passes for 275 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions.
- Lavonte David: The Tampa Bay defense needs to help out Winston to win on Sunday. Look for David to have 10 tackles, 1.5 for a loss of yardage, one quarterback sack, and a forced turnover.
