Even more exciting than watching the Iowa upset of Michigan upset on Saturday was the radio call

To say that Week 11 of the college football season on Saturday was a little nutty might be the understatement of the century. There were major shakeups at the top of the rankings, one of them being the Iowa Hawkeyes knocking off the No. 3 Michigan Wolverines inside Kinnick Stadium.

Michigan came into this game looking to keep their undefeated season going strong, but after a last-second field goal, those hopes were completely dashed before their very eyes.

It was one of the more memorable moments of this college football season, watching that Iowa field goal sail through the uprights, but what may have been even more amazing was listening to the radio call from the Hawkeyes radio announcers.

Iowa knocking off Michigan Saturday night in Iowa City was a moment we won’t forget for a while, and that moment really is even made better when you listen to the homer call on the radio. Well, unless you’re a Michigan fan, then no, you really don’t wanna hear this call all that much.

However, despite this moment, the Wolverines aren’t out of it just yet. If they can take care of business the rest of the way then they’ll still be in pretty good position for a spot in that College Football Playoff as the Big Ten Champion representative.

Now the Hawkeyes, unfortunately, won’t be making a return trip to Indianapolis as the champions of the West division, but this win over Michigan on Saturday night sure is one heck of a consolation prize to take away from this season.
