Previous: . Charlotte Hornets. 7. team. 170. What can I say about the Charlotte Hornets that hasn’t already been said by the national media? Well, anything actually. All kidding aside, the Hornets have been phenomenal to begin the season and there isn’t any evidence that it’s a fluke. Kemba Walker is consistently playing at an All-Star level and Nic Batum is looking as good as a second banana can so far. Steve Clifford is truly the highlight of this whole thing as his coaching not only has Charlotte as one of the top defensive teams in the NBA, but also has them taking care of the ball at a high rate too. Clifford’s teams has adapted to the three-pointt trend and suddenly the Hornets became one of the most prolific three-point shooting teams in the league. All those years of Michael Jordan GM jokes and crying Jordan memes are worth it now for his Airness as he’s the owner of one of the best teams in the association.. (6-3)
