College Football Week 12: FanSided expert picks and predictions

Week 12 is here and the FanSided staff is ready to make their college football picks and predictions for the week’s biggest games.

We are headed down the stretch run of the college football regular season and with the exception of the SEC West, division and conference titles are still up for grabs.

We should some clarity in the Big 12 conference race with a pair of monster games on tap this weekend. Morgantown, West Virginia will be at the center of the college football universe Saturday night with the West Virginia Mountaineers hosting Baker Mayfield and the Oklahoma Sooners.

Plus, we’ll have Mason Rudolph and the Oklahoma State Cowboys playing the TCU Horned Frogs as the Pokes look to remain unbeaten in conference play. If the Pokes win and the Sooners win, we could be shaping up for the Bedlam Series to decide the conference champion on the final weekend of the year.

With West Virginia-Oklahoma serving as the game of the week, we brought in HailWV.com site expert Phil Poling to join the FanSided staff for this week’s college football picks. He is one of three to pick the Mountaineers to beat the Sooners but the other eight have Mayfield, Dede Westbrook and the Sooners winning.

You can see the full list of games and our picks for 10 marquee games below. In addition to WVU-OU, we are picking USC-UCLA, Virginia Tech-Notre Dame and the makeup game between the LSU Tigers and Florida Gators.
