1. The Washington Huskies have a hangover

After suffering a stunning loss to USC at home last week, the Washington Huskies can’t afford to lose again. While they still have a great chance of getting in, especially with Louisville losing, one more loss would all but end their chances.

The Huskies can’t afford to have a hangover at home this week against the Arizona State Sun Devils. The Sun Devils have been awful on the road the last two years and this is a game where Washington should win comfortably.

Even better for Washington is that Arizona State has the worst pass defense in the country. This is exactly the type of game for them to get right and hope that the committee puts them back in the top four if one of the other teams is unspectacular.

If they do have a hangover and do the unthinkable and lose to Arizona State, then the committee will have no safety nets remaining and will hope that the rest of the teams in the top four don’t end up imploding.
