College Football Rankings: FanSided Top 25 entering Week 13
It may have been a “winter wonderland” in Morgantown on Saturday night but it was anything but enjoyable for the Mountaineers who struggled with an Oklahoma buzzsaw. With their conference title hopes dashed, the Mountaineers now gear up for two final contests against Iowa State and Baylor. Those two games are ones the Mountaineers should win but for the next few week and even months, it will be the loss to Oklahoma most fans and people in the WVU program will be lamenting.
With College GameDay in attendance, the Broncos did not fold under the pressure and waste their chance to move a step closer to the Cotton Bowl. It’s been stated many times over the past few weeks that Western Michigan is on easy street and while that’s true, holding off the Boise State’s and Houston’s of the world will not be easy. They will have to win come up with wins against rival Toledo and in the MAC Championship Game, if they do that then it will be hard to deny P.J. Fleck and his Broncos a right to a major bowl game.
