Jamize Olawale hauled in a huge 75-yard touchdown to get the Oakland Raiders back in the game against the Houston Texans.
Monday Night Football in Mexico City has been a thrilling back-and-forth affair between the Houston Texans and Oakland Raiders on Monday night. With two playoff contenders looking to pick up a huge win in a special international game, neither wanted to give an inch. Jamize Olawale made sure the Raiders stayed in the game.
With the Texans holding a lead in the fourth quarter, Olawale went on an improbable run to the end zone. He took a pass from Derek Carr 75 yards to the house and a pro-Raiders crowd in the stadium went nuts as they tied things up.
It’s always fun whenever the fullback can score a touchdown, but it’s extremely rare to see one catch a touchdown and go the length of the field with it. Olawale has rare speed for a fullback and his ability to juke out the defender was on display here.
For a night that’s had plenty of big plays, the NFL made sure to put a great game on display down in Mexico. The crowd was into it all night and Olawale really took things in attendance to another level with his catch and run.
