16. With two weeks to prepare, the Bills got off a good start in the Queen City. But by halftime, the host Bengals had scratched out a 12-10 advantage. However, Rex Ryan’s team pitched a shutout in the second half as they took advantage of a Cincinnati attack which lost wide receiver A.J. Green early in the game. Meanwhile, the Buffalo ground attack overcame the eventual loss of running back LeSean McCoy and gashed the Bengals defense for 183 yards on the ground. On defense, the hero for the Bills was cornerback Stephon Gilmore. He picked off Cincinnati quarterback Andy Dalton twice, totaled six tackles and knocked down three passes.
