Week 12 of the college football season is in the books, and a few players continue to dominate individually. Here are the top-five performers from Week 12.

The college football regular season is drawing to a close, as programs from around the country will play their final game this weekend. There are some huge conference matchups on the slate which should decide who earns a berth in their conference championship games. The College Football Playoff is within reach for a bunch of teams, so it should be an exciting weekend of football.

Here are out top-5 individual performances from last weekend’s games.

When most people think of the SMU Mustangs, they still think about the scandals that nearly brought down the program. However, those who have followed the team recently know that they have one heck of a wide receiver playing for the current Mustangs. Courtland Sutton had an incredible game this past week, and has really been one of the most consistent receivers in college football in 2016.

This past week, Sutton caught 13 balls for 252 yards, while hauling in two touchdowns. His 252 yards set the school’s single-game record for receiving yards, as he went over 100 yards receiving for the fifth time this season. His effort this past weekend was the first time he has ever gone over 200 yards in a game, as he became only the fifth player in school history to accomplish the feat.

Over his last two games, the sophomore has caught 25 balls for 418 yards, while finding the end zone four times. As a freshman in 2015, Sutton caught nine touchdowns, and he has already tied that mark this season. For the season, Sutton has caught 70 balls for 1,186 yards, and he could be a player to keep an eye out for in the 2018 NFL Draft class.
