It’s Thanksgiving week in Week 12 of the 2016 NFL season. That means the second half of the season is officially under way. This is the time of the year where playoff hopefuls and Super Bowl contenders start to emerge. When the weather gets colder, the running game and the battles in the trenches become all the more important.

Week 12 is unique in that there are five nationally televised games on the slate this week. The three coming on Thanksgiving will be the Minnesota Vikings at the Detroit Lions, the Washington Redskins at the Dallas Cowboys, and the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Indianapolis Colts.

Sunday Night Football in Week 12 will be in the AFC West, as the Denver Broncos will host the Kansas City Chiefs. Monday Night Football will feature the Green Bay Packers at the Philadelphia Eagles.
