We are getting into the home stretch of the 2016 NFL season, and it is time for Matt Verderame to make his Week 12 picks for this weekend.

Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions (-2.5)

The Lions (6-4) have already beaten the Vikings (6-4) in Minnesota, and could deliver the virtual knockout blow on Thanksgiving. It should be a great game, but take the better quarterback.

Pick: Detroit 23, Minnesota 20

Washington Redskins at Dallas Cowboys (-7)

This is going to be a great game. The Redskins (6-3-1) have lost one game since Week 2, while the Cowboys (9-1) are on a nine-game win streak. Dan Bailey could be the difference.

Pick: Dallas 27, Washington 26

Pittsburgh Steelers (-9) at Indianapolis Colts

If Andrew Luck was playing, the Colts (5-5) would have a shot. With Scott Tolzien under center, the Steelers (5-5) are going to give Indy the Ol’ Yeller treatment.

Pick: Pittsburgh 41, Indianapolis 16

San Francisco 49ers at Miami Dolphins (-7.5)

The 49ers (1-9) are absolutely terrible. In fact, they are even worse roster-wise than Cleveland. The Dolphins (6-4) are rolling, and they won’t lose this game.

Pick: Miami 24, San Francisco 16

Tennessee Titans (-5.5) at Chicago Bears

The Bears (2-8) are beyond ravaged by injuries and suspensions. The Titans (5-6) have to win to have any shot in the AFC South. They win here.

Pick: Tennessee 30, Chicago 17
