Vikings at Lions: Highlights, score and recap
The Detroit Lions were able to steal another game late from the Minnesota Vikings, winning 16-13 on a game-winning field goal from Matt Prater.
Detroit continues to live on, beating the Vikings to give them sole possession of first place in the NFC North. The Lions took an early 7-0 lead before falling behind 13-10 in the fourth quarter with under two minutes remaining. However, Prater was able to connect from 48 yards. Then, after Darius Slay intercepted a third-down pass from Sam Bradford in the waning seconds, the Lions were able to win on a 40-yard attempt.
With the win, Detroit moves to 7-4 on the season while the Vikings lose their fifth in six contests, going to 6-5. The Vikings also lost both games to the Lions, putting them in tough position for anything other than a wild card spot.

1. Matt Prater
it’s hard not to pick the guy who hit a huge field goal to tie the game and then won it only seconds later. Prater has been huge for the Lions this season, also playing a huge role in their first win over Minnesota this season. Without him, Detroit would not be in the lead of the NFC North.
2. Anquan Boldin
Boldin played a major part in the Thanksgiving win over the Vikings. On the first drive of the game, Boldin snagged the only Detroit touchdown of the day. He ended up with seen catches and 69 yards, showcasing why he was one of the better signings of the offseason.

3. Tahir Whitehead
Whitehead is not a huge names around the league, but he is one of the better inside linebackers in the NFL. He led both teams on Thursday with 12 tackles including one for loss. Detroit needed to be terrific on defense to win the game, and Whitehead spearheaded the effort.

The Detroit Lions will square off against the Saints on the road on Sunday, Dec. 4. Meanwhile, the Minnesota Vikings will face the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, Dec. 1.
