The excitement for the 2016 edition of The Game has been palpable all week. It’s one thing for both teams to be relevant in the national conversation once again. However, it’s an entirely new level of important as it finally arrives. On Saturday, the winner between the Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan Wolverines will likely lock up a College Football Playoff nod. With ESPN College GameDay in Columbus, you better believe the GameDay signs were out in full force for such a moment.

Even the ESPN crew and the fans with their GameDay signs were doing something special on Saturday morning. Not only were they out early in the morning to get on the show and make some noise, but they had to do so two hours earlier with a special start time. In the cold of nearing winter in Ohio, that’s dedication to your team.

What’s interesting is that College GameDay is coming off of a show in Kalamazoo for Western Michigan. Personally, I love the small schools getting the show. However, there’s 100 percent no way to deny how incredible an inspired group like these fans can be when it comes to signs. I mean, you’re talking about a rivalry game with high stakes as well.
