There is no obviously relegation-bound team this season (like Aston Villa last year), which means, even with 26 matches remaining, things are looking grim for the Swans.

A good first step on the road to safety would be beating Crystal Palace, who are in a serious funk themselves. Alan Pardew’s side have lost five matches in a row and now find themselves only a point clear of relegation. There is obvious talent in this team, but it has for the most part been put to waste. Palace are not quite in as dire a situation as Swansea, but if they don’t start winning again soon, they will be in serious trouble.
