Not all the way in enough to make me give them a top five ranking, but all the way in enough for this slide to be my admission of me eating my crow and placing my bottle of Haterade down on the table. Jimmy Butler is making a run at being categorized as a top-five player in the NBA. He’s taken the Kawhi Leonard mold and made it his own. Butler’s ability to contribute on both ends of the floor make him the key to the Bulls success this year. There were questions heading into the season about whether or not Rajon Rondo and Dwyane Wade would be willing to take a backseat to a non-solidified star, but it looks like Rondo and Wade have both accepted that if they want this team to be as good as it can be that they will have to ride Jimmy Butler’s coattail to success.
