On Thursday Dec. 1, the New York Islanders take on the Washington Capitals at 7:00 p.m. ET. Here’s how you can watch this NHL game online via live streaming.

Thursday Dec. 1 will feature a Metropolitan Division showdown. The Washington Capitals (13-6-2) host the New York Islanders (8-10-4) at the Verizon Center. This game starts at 7:00 p.m. ET and will be shown on CSN Mid Atlantic and MSG+. NHL.tv subscribers will be able to see it via the service.

The Islanders enter this game looking for another win. With a win over Washington, they will have their first three game winning streak of the season. New York is currently in last place in the Metropolitan Division with 20 points in 22 games.

Captain John Tavares has 17 points in 22 games, leading the team in scoring. Brock Nelson has 14 points while young forward Josh Bailey has 13. Lately, Thomas Hickey has been quite productive, with an overtime goal on Monday and an assist on Anders Lee’s game winning goal against the Penguins on Wednesday.

On the other side of the ice, Washington has gone 5-4-1 over their last 10 games. Alex Ovechkin leads the team with 12 goals. Meanwhile, Nicklas Backstrom leads the Caps in points with 20. Braden Holtby is following his Vezina Trophy campaign in 2015-16 with an equally impressive 2016-17 season. Washington has gone 8-3-0 at the Verizon Center this season. Over their last 10 games against the Islanders, they have gone 7-0-3. Holtby has 11 wins against the Isles in his career.

Both teams could use a win to start the month of December. The last time the Capitals faced the Islanders, they won. With New York and Washington both playing well as of late, this should be a great game.
