After another solid weeks of picks, NFL expert Matt Verderame sits down and sorts through a very good slate of Week 13 matchups.

Dallas Cowboys (-3) at Minnesota Vikings

This is make-or-break time for the Vikings (6-5) who are in epic freefall. At this juncture, how can you pick this group against the Cowboys (10-1) who have not lost since Week 1?

Pick: Dallas 24, Minnesota 19

Los Angeles Rams at New England Patriots (-13.5)

The Rams (4-7) all but announced that Jeff Fisher will be back next season. If your team is a joke and has no real interest in winning, you aren’t beating the Patriots (9-2). Get real, Los Angeles.

Pick: New England 20, Los Angeles 10

Detroit Lions at New Orleans Saints (-5.5)

This is a sneaky game that has a ton of potential. The Lions (7-4) are trying to hold off the Vikings and Packers in the NFC North. Meanwhile, the Saints (5-6) are hoping to claw back into the playoff picture,. Ultimately, one has a decent defense and the other does not.

Pick: Detroit 32, New Orleans 27

Philadelphia Eagles (-1) at Cincinnati Bengals

Two teams getting ready to play golf in warmer climates. The Bengals (3-7-1) are not good but they are at home and due to win. The Eagles (5-6) have the look of a dead team.

Pick: Cincinnati 19, Philadelphia 16
