New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski joked that he was ready to hit the dance floor after having back surgery on Friday.

The New England Patriots were dealt a huge blow when it was announced that tight end Rob Gronkowski would likely miss the rest of the season after needing back surgery. The Patriots’ superstar had been battling injuries all season and this one finally ended his year during aspirations of a Super Bowl run.

The good news is that Gronkowski hasn’t lost his sense of humor. After having surgery on Friday, a video was shown of the tight end walking around with a walker as he rehabilitates from the surgery. Needless to say, Gronkowski is ready to hit the dance floor.

WARNING: NSFW Language

In the video, Gronkowski and another individual joke about how he is going to be taking on the dance floor and that they’re going to “pimp out” his walker. When it comes to the most hilarious athletes in sports, there aren’t many that rank up there with the All-Pro.

You rarely see videos of athletes right after surgery, let alone videos of them detailing their plans to try and dance. If one were to try and dance with a walker it would probably be pretty difficult. Gronkowski seems like the type of guy to be able to pull it off. He might not be on a football field in the near future for his team, but he’s going to be working his way back by busting a move.
