The Washington Redskins travel to Phoenix to face off against the Arizona Cardinals in a must-win situation for both teams. Here’s how to watch the game online.

Both the Washington Redskins and the Arizona Cardinals find themselves reeling from painful road losses in Week 11. The Redskins fell to 6-4-1 after losing a 31-26 shootout to the now 10-1 Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day, ensuring the Cowboys would sweep the season series over Washington. Meanwhile, Arizona was embarrassed by the Atlanta Falcons 38-19 in what served as another upsetting loss for last year’s NFC runner-up and sent their record tumbling to 4-6-1.

The last time Washington and Arizona met it was mid-October showdown in 2014, also at the University of Phoenix stadium, where the Cardinals ultimately emerged victorious with a score of 30-20. In that game Carson Palmer returned from a nerve injury suffered in Week 1 to throw two touchdowns, while then-backup Kirk Cousins tossed three back-breaking picks in the fourth quarter including a pick-six to safety Rashad Johnson that sealed the deal. Arizona went on to finish the season 11-6 with a Wild Card round loss to the Carolina Panthers, and Washington sunk to a lowly 4-12 record.

Back in the present day, this game has high stakes for two team’s trying to keep their respective Wild Card hopes alive. Though even with their losses last week, these two teams seemed to have reversed roles since their 2014 match-up. Washington’s won six games through 11 weeks, the first time they’d accomplished that since one-time head coach Jim Zorn’s first season in 2008. On the other hand, Arizona hasn’t seen a won since they squeaked out a victory against the lowly San Francisco 49ers in Week 10.

Still, Arizona has opened as 2.5 point favorites according to OddsShark and that line has stayed consistent throughout the week. Either Las Vegas knows something we don’t, or is just confident that Arizona’s head coach Bruce Arians will right the ship just in time to make a late-season run. Whatever the reasoning,  the wise guys in Vegas are sure Arizona will pull out this game and set their season on the right track.

Can Arizona pull themselves out of its slump and find a way back into the win column? Or will Washington regain it’s footing after a bitter loss to a division rival and further make the case for their Wild Card spot? That remains to be seen, but either way this is going to be a fun one to watch.
