Previous: . New Orleans Saints. 25. team. 15. Matthew Stafford, a legitimate MVP candidate, dominated the Saints on Sunday afternoon. New Orleans allowed over 400 yards of offense, most of which came off the arm of the former Georgia quarterback. Drew Brees on the other hand had his worst game of the year, as he is continually forced to throw the ball down field thanks to an inept run game. Brees had three interception and zero touchdowns, while the running backs combined for 50 yards. That includes a four-yard Brandin Cooks run and John Kuhn’s one-yard touchdown carry. Ten penalties and three turnovers made the Saints chances of being victorious even dimmer towards the end.
Next Week: The Saints take their fading playoff hopes to Tampa Bay, who is now tied for the division lead with Atlanta. Jameis Winston has an opportunity to dismantle the leagues’ worst defense at home, and will take full advantage of that. Who will cover Mike Evans, no one is quite sure.

Draft Talk: New Orleans has more holes on defense than the College Football Playoff committee’s explanations. They have drafted Hau’oli Kikaha, Sheldon Rankins, and Stephone Anthony to be the future of their front-seven. Middle linebacker, defensive end, and cornerback still need to be fixed on a defense that has been historically bad for years.
. 5-7
