Victor Oladipo may have had the NBA dunk of the season on Monday night and it came at the expense of Dwight Howard

What if I were to tell you that someone from the Oklahoma City Thunder threw down one of the best dunks in the NBA that we have seen all season? What if I told you that this person also did so at the expense of none other than Dwight Howard? Of course, your guess would immediately be Russell Westbrook.

Yeah, well, it wasn’t Russ that turned in this performance on Monday night. No, the person who may have completed the dunk of the year in the NBA was Victor Oladipo.

The Thunder are on the road Monday night taking on the Atlanta Hawks, and in the first half of this one, Oladipo got the ball in the corner with a lane to the hoop. He took off full steam ahead and threw down the double pump jam — embarrassing Howard in the process.

I mean … just WOW! There might not be a question that this is the dunk of the year in the NBA thus far this season, and it’s gonna be pretty hard to top that one as the season goes along. Everything about this was just a thing of beauty, making you watch it over and over again.

Howard is still one of the premier big men in the NBA, as he continues his career playing his first season for the Hawks. Dwight has had his positive moments throughout his career, but this is one that he’s gonna want to forget immediately.

Not us, though. Nope, we’re gonna be watching this one for years to come, without a doubt!
