Power rankings for the quarter mark of the NBA season

For the first time in the show’s history, Fastbreak Breakfast has decided to join the online masses and provide quarter season power rankings based on their own especially fickle standards. Here is co-host Jon Burr (@masterjonburr) to provide an introduction:

Ahoy there, Breakfast Club! We are already a quarter way through an already tumultuous NBA season and what better way to celebrate than with an episode entirely dedicated to our very first quarter season power rankings.

In this episode, we seek to answer some queries that should be haunting all hoops enthusiasts: How high can Uncle Luke’s Feel-Good Jamboree take his young, would-be Showtimers? To what degree can I be fooled into overrating the New York Knicks based solely on Kristaps Porzingis’ sophomore surge? Will Keith’s (@fastbreakbreak) infatuation with Steve Clifford blind him to the blemishes of the Charlotte Hornets? And just how disturbingly high or low will Chuck (@themightychuck) rate his beloved Miami Heat?

You’ll get all that and more, dear listener, as your three humble narrators weave their way through all 30 clubs and, of course, reveal what sweet and savory treats they’ve indulged as of late. This is also their first foray into the wholly intangible world of the dreaded Skype Three-Way Phone Call, so forgive any issues of clarity, be they technological in nature or otherwise. — Yours, Jon

Will you agree with the Fastbreak Breakfast power rankings? Where will you disagree the most? Is it true the Orlando Magic are inexplicably not that low? What effect will last week’s Memphis Grizzlies funeral have on their ranking? And who will receive the ignominy of being dead last?
