Tom Herman just showed us all how much things in life can change with one picture of two Texas business cards

They say that life comes at you fast, and if there is one person you wanna ask about that, it’s new University of Texas head football coach Tom Herman. Just three seasons ago he was an offensive coordinator for Ohio State helping the Buckeyes win the national title, now he’s running the most lucrative football program in the country.

Aside from being an offensive coordinator, you what else the charismatic Herman once was? He was an offensive graduate assistant for — you guessed it, the Texas Longhorns.

Well, to show just how much life –and your career– can change when you work hard and are successful, he posted this amazing picture showcasing both his new and old Texas business cards.

Herman was a grad assistant at Texas from 1999-2000 under then-head coach Mack Brown. At the time, he was probably looking around just being happy enough to be a part of the most powerful college football program in the nation. Here in December of 2016, he is now in the shoes that Brown was at that time, running the Texas Longhorns football program.

Following two very successful years running the Houston Cougars, Herman was named the head coach of Texas last week after the program decided to part ways with Charlie Strong after three downtrodden seasons in Austin.

With all of the pressure on him now to perform and bring Texas back to prominence, we’ll see how long Herman gets to keep those flashy new business cards he was just handed by his new employer.
