On Thursday Night Football, the Kansas City Chiefs host the Oakland Raiders. Here’s an updated list of score updates and highlights.

Thursday Night Football in Week 14 will feature an AFC West Showdown. This game will determine first place in the heavily-contested vision. The Kansas City Chiefs (9-3) will host the visiting Oakland Raiders (10-2). Because the Chiefs beat Oakland earlier this season, should they win, not only will they be in first, they will also hold a tiebreaker over them.

This matchup is fascinating because it features two teams that rely on their strengths. Their respective strengths will be facing each other. The strength of the Raiders is their offense. With a vertical passing game and a unique trio in the backfield, Oakland’s offense is very deadly. Their passing game is led by Derek Carr. Credit the young quarterback for playing with a dislocated finger. That’s a new level of tough.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs’ strength lies in their defense. Specifically, they force turnovers and can put a lot of pressure on quarterbacks. Both of these will be key if Kansas City wants to beat Oakland. The Chiefs will also have to put up some points because no matter how well their defense plays, they will have to score to win.

Three Stars

1. Derek Carr

Expect Derek Carr to have a great game against the Chiefs. He has been playing unbelievable football as of late, leading his team to a comeback win over the Buffalo Bills. Sure, the Chiefs will make life quite difficult for him. But so far in his career, Carr has handled just about everything defenses have thrown at him.

2. Travis Kelce

Look for the big tight end to have a huge day against the Raiders defense. With Rob Gronkowski injured, Kelce might be the NFL’s top tight end. Oakland has struggled this season against tight ends. With Kelce already playing a huge role in their offense as is, expect a monster game from him.

3. Spencer Ware

Oakland allows the 29th fewest rushing yards per game in the NFL. This means the Chiefs running back could have a field day. He has 734 rushing yards entering Thursday’s game.

Next Week

The Chiefs will face the Tennessee Titans at home in Week 14, starting at 1:00 p.m. ET.

Meanwhile, Oakland will face the San Diego Chargers on the road.
