The New England Patriots could be without both Danny Amendola and Martellus Bennett against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night.

This week on Monday Night Football, the New England Patriots will look to cool off the red hot Baltimore Ravens. Though the game is at Gillette Stadium, where the Pats rarely lose, they could be entering Monday with a disadvantage. Not only has Danny Amendola been ruled out with an ankle injury, but tight end Martellus Bennett is questionable with a multitude of injuries.

While the Patriots might be fine without Amendola because Julian Edelman and Chris Hogan are healthy, they need their backup tight end healthy. Thanks to Rob Gronkowski’s herniated disc, they are very short as far as tight ends go. If Bennett can play, this drastically impacts their offense. New England loves to use their tight ends, and they might be going into Week 14 with none of their top two options healthy.

Amendola has just 243 receiving yards and four touchdowns this season. Thanks to the emergence of Edelman and Hogan, his role has been reduced in recent weeks. Still, he has been a solid punt returner for them, so they’ll need to replace him there.

Should Bennett miss Monday’s game, the Patriots will be without three of their top seven receiving options in terms of receiving yards. There is, however, some good news. Though he was never a threat to miss any games, Tom Brady is officially off the injury list. The Patriots will need Brady to be at his best against the Ravens. Baltimore always plays them tough and their improved secondary will be a solid test for him.

It should be interesting to see if Bennett plays. If he doesn’t, New England’s offense will look quite different than it has so far this season.
