Shots have been fired. Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. wants Tennessee Titans wide receiver Harry Douglas to be fined for his hit on him Sunday.

The Denver Broncos lost a must-win game against the Tennessee Titans in Nashville on Sunday, 13-10. It was a low-scoring affair, but the most notable play from the game was a block that Titans wide receiver Harry Douglas had on Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr.

It was a low blow by Douglas and Harris hated that his ankles were taken out from underneath him. This lead to a benches clearing brawl between the Broncos and the Titans. Tennessee improved to 7-6, while Denver fell to 8-5.

This hit by Douglas definitely had Harris fired up after the game. Here is what Harris had to say about Douglas’ cheap shot on him on Sunday.

Douglas is known for doing the occasional chip block, but this was a very competitive game between two teams vying for AFC Playoff spots. Tennessee got a huge win on Sunday while seeing the Indianapolis Colts lose to the Houston Texans. The Titans were swept by the Colts this season, but still have a game left against the Texans left on the slate.

For Denver, 8-5 has them in the thick of things for the No. 6 seed in the AFC. The Miami Dolphins and the Pittsburgh Steelers improved to 8-5 on Sunday. On Monday night, the Baltimore Ravens could join them if they beat the New England Patriots in Foxborough.

If Harris needs Douglas to be fined to feel better about this road loss to the Titans, so be it. However, Denver didn’t get it done in Nashville on Sunday and could be rapidly falling out of the AFC Playoff picture.
