On Monday Night Football, the Baltimore Ravens visit the New England Patriots. Here’s an updated list of score updates and highlights.Â
Monday Night Football in Week 14 will feature an AFC showdown between familiar rivals. This game is a must win for the Baltimore Ravens as they optimize their playoff chances. The New England Patriots (10-2) will host the visiting Ravens (7-5) at Gillette Stadium.
Baltimore enters this matchup on a hot streak, winning four of their last five games. This will be the first time the two teams have faced each other since New England beat them in the second round of the 2015 playoffs. Coming off a 38-6 win over the Miami Dolphins, Baltimore should challenge New England. They allow just 296.1 yards per game on defense, the fewest in the NFL. The Ravens also allow 17.2 points per game, second fewest in the league.
On the other side of the field, New England relies heavily on their offense. Led by Tom Brady, they average 26.6 points (eighth most), 387.5 total yards (fifth most), 270.2 passing yards (fourth) and 117.2 rushing yards (sixth). However, New England has reached at least 26 points in just one of their last four games. They rank in the top 10 in fewest points allowed a game (17.2), average yards allowed (337.2), and average rushing yards allowed per game (94.2).

Three Stars
1. Tom Brady
The Patriots offense relies heavily on Brady. It’s because of his incredible poise in the pocket they are able to have a successful running game. However, this week, Brady will have to be even better than usual because New England will be without star tight end Rob Gronkowsi and wide receiver Danny Amendola. They could also be without backup tight end Martellus Bennett. New England’s offense could look very different on Monday and it will be up to Brady to be the star. Don’t bet against him.
2. Joe Flacco
After struggling for most of the season, Flacco showed hints of why the Ravens believe in him against the Dolphins. He had his best day of the season, completing over 70 percent of his passes for 381 yards and four touchdowns. Flacco has always done well against New England, especially in recent years. This is the time of year when he tends to shine. Also, Flacco will need to be at the top of his game to beat New England’s underrated defense.

3. Julian Edelman
With Amendola and Gronkowski out, it will be up to Edelman to move the chains for New England. He is Brady’s favorite receiver, leading the team in receptions and receiving yards. However, in four career games against Baltimore, Edelman has just 117 receiving yards. Going against a secondary led by Jimmy Smith, he needs to make an impact in order for his team to win.
Next Week
