Joe Montana Division
4. Derek Carr
Carr has the worst game of his career on Thursday, only hitting on 17-of-41 for 117 yards in the loss at Kansas City. Yet he has 24 touchdowns to five interceptions and has Oakland at 10-3. He’s been great.
3. Aaron Rodgers
Rodgers went from a question mark in October to an exclamation point in December. The hard-charging Packers are led by their MVP, who has 3,529 passing yards and a league-best 32 touchdown passes. Rodgers – and Green Bay – might be adding to their trophy cases.

2. Matt Ryan
Ryan is having a tremendous season that is going under the radar. The Falcons’ star ranks second with 4,050 passing yards and 30 touchdowns to only seven interceptions. Most impressive is his 9.16 yards per attempt, easily tops in the NFL.
1. Tom Brady
At this point, Brady has to be considered beyond elite. He’s almost supernatural. The touch on his throws are insane. The stats are eye-popping. When Brady makes an error, it’s legitimately shocking. He’s 39 years old, and getting better.
