The Green Bay Packers are making another run to the playoffs, and while they may fall a bit short, Aaron Rodgers is proving once again that he is one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game. Green Bay’s offense put a hurting on the Seattle Seahawks this past week, as Rodgers was able to pick apart a good Seattle secondary. However, they still have nothing as far as a run game goes, and that is the position they need to draft next April.

There are a few big-time underclassmen coming out for next year’s draft, and one of them is University of Texas star running back D’Onta Freeman. Freeman is an incredible specimen at the position, possessing incredible size and speed. He has the ability to run over, or around the defense, and actually grades out very close to guys like Leonard Fournette and Dalvin Cook.

While it may be hard to imagine, Rodgers is starting to get up there in age, and while he has looked good lately, he did struggle to start the season. He needs someone in the backfield that is going to take some pressure off of him, so bringing in a guy like Foreman may actually extend the signal-caller’s career. Rodgers likely has a handful of good seasons left, and this receiving core is stacked, so one good running back could put them over the edge.
