Week 15 of the 2016 NFL season kickoffs on Thursday Night Football on December 15th. Who are the two teams that will be playing on Thursday Night Football?

The NFL is already in Week 15 of the 2016 NFL season. That means there are only three more weeks left in the season and just two more Thursday Night Football games. Which two teams will be playing on Thursday night this week?

Thursday Night Football for Week 15 will feature a pair of NFC West division rivals in the Los Angeles Rams (4-9) and the Seattle Seahawks (8-4-1). Kickoff from CenturyLink Field in Seattle on Thursday, Dec. 15 will be at 8:25 p.m. ET. NBC, the NFL Network, and Twitter will all carry this football game.

Both NFC West foes are coming off terrible losses in Week 14. Seattle was humiliated on the road by the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field, 38-10. Quarterback Russell Wilson threw five interceptions and Seattle lost control of its No. 2 seed in the NFC Playoffs in this crushing loss.

Los Angeles were ripped to shreds by the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday afternoon, 42-14. This loss was so atrocious for the Rams that the organization had no choice but to fire head coach Jeff Fisher. Special teams coordinator John Fassel will be the Rams interim head coach the rest of the way.

As strange as it sounds, both teams have to be pretty amped to be getting a short week in Week 15. Los Angeles and Seattle are easily coming off their worst losses of the season, so a quick turnaround is the best medicine for both teams.

In their previous meeting in Week 2, the Rams a field goal battle 9-3 over the Seahawks in Los Angeles. The Rams offense might be the worst in football. At times, Seattle’s looks as bad. Expect a low-scoring defensive battle in Seattle on Thursday Night Football.
