Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens everywhere on December 16, but select theaters will host early showings on Thursday. We have your ticket and show time information right here!

In case you didn’t know, there is a new Star Wars movie coming out this week. Unlike the previous films, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is the first standalone Star Wars spinoff to hit theaters, and it already has critics and fans buzzing. If you’re looking for tickets and showtimes, we’ve got you covered!

Fandango is a great place to get started in the search for movie tickets. They even have a special page dedicated to Rogue One movie times and theaters. Thursday show times start at 7 p.m. in many theaters and continue every 30 minutes to every hour until midnight. After that, most show times resume on Friday.

AMC Theaters, the second largest theater chain in the United States, is promoting its ticketing app, the AMC Theaters App, for ticket and show time information. Now you can check show times and buy tickets from the app and go straight into the theater. Big theater chains like AMC, Regal Entertainment, and Cinemark Theaters will be able to offer the most show times because they have more theaters to show the film.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story started out with a 79% on Rotten Tomatoes, and that number has risen steadily as the movie’s debut approaches. The movie introduces us to an unlikely group of heroes who go on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star. The exciting thing about this story is that it introduces a whole new world of characters and new possibilities for future stories that are set outside of the original timeline.
